This is a fantastic and hilarious short story by Russel Barrie.

Chad thinks he is so clever getting a previous lover to do the catering for his wedding. The man has no tact and thinks little of anyone other than himself. But he loves her chocolate cake! So that makes it all ok does it?

Russel Barrie is a novelist and author of short fiction who hates writing about himself. Most bios end up sounding like an obituary, but he is very much alive and writing. He was born in Edmonton, Canada and studied history at the University of Alberta, then abroad at Cambridge UK. He is a former University Professor and writes full time to pursue a lifelong passion. He has taught in Canada, toured battlefields in Europe and driven tractors in Australia. Now, he lives in British Columbia with his wife, whom he adores, and his son who will always be his greatest creation no matter how many books he writes.
