Jane Austen

Sense and Sensibility

10/10

The wonderful story of the Miss Dashwood's.
Elinor, the eldest, solid and dependable who gives her heart to Edward Ferrars, only to discover he is betrothed to Miss Lucy Steele, and doesn't Miss Steele make sure Elinor knows it.
Marianne the middle, flighty, flirty and destined to throw her heart away to the most unworthy Willoughby that comes along while slighting Colonel Brandon a man of ten-times his consequence.
It is in what we can suppose of Austen, a Victorian story of the loves, losses and loves of young ladies who were once but no longer are ladies of consequence. Absolutely charming and heart warming and one not to be missed. Who does not love a little Austen?
