Tales from the Greenhills

Terry brings to life those long, hot Liverpool summer days of yore. Holidays and day trips to Wales. Messing about in the park, and the over-cockiness of youth.

The blossoming love story, romantic heartache, and familial woes all draw you in to Tommy's plight and give our skally-wag hero a multi-faceted personality. Most of us can relate to at least one aspect of his life. While the names have changed, who of us can't recall a 'Mad-dog' in the memories of our burgeoning youth.

I grew up in Liverpool in the 1970s and moved to Wales, so the book resonated with me on many levels. Tommy is indicative of a lot of northern lads and to see what I mean, you'll have to read the book.
