The book is full of handy hints and good advice of what not to do when trying to get a book published. I particularly found the case studies engaging. I have read and will keep for reference. Good advice and handy hints for both sides of the Atlantic. If you are looking to embark on a publishing journey, this book should be on your bookcase.

From Pitch to Publication

Published in 1999 on reading in 2023 the book is incredibly out of date. That said, there are a number of useful hints on what to say and what not to say in your query letter. What clauses to have and what not to have in a contract. In short there are transferable skills. Not many, but some. I read from cover to cover. If I knew then what I know now I would use as a point of reference.
